The Language Resource and Writing Cell (LRWC), Dept. of H&SS, IIT Bombay is looking for up to THREE guest instructors to help with English Language instruction.
Qualifications:

An M.A. (esp. in English/Linguistics/English Language Teaching) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade point average and at least three years’ experience in Teaching English language after the degree.

Preference may be given to candidates with any/several of the following:
-
Experience with curriculum development for English language
-
International English language teaching certification such as CELTA, TEFL etc. certification

Substantial work experience and/or experience teaching in Institutes of higher learning
-
Writing/editorial experience
-
Higher degrees in the relevant fields

Candidates retired from academic positions and with age not exceeding 62 years may also be considered.
Assignment profile:
The Language Resources and Writing Cell (LRWC), provides in-house learning services for the improvement of English language skills with monitoring and feedback. The Guest Instructors will be responsible for teaching Academic English skills to undergraduate students within the ambit of a specific course and carrying out all in- and end- semester evaluations under the guidance and monitoring of a faculty member. The teaching commitment is as follows:
Time: 3-4 hours/week
Dates: Instruction start date: 27 July 2026
Instruction end date: November 6, 2026
Examination period and evaluation end date: November 30, 2026

An hourly honorarium will be paid. *There will be no other compensation or benefit in undertaking this assignment.
